Stolen boxing gloves
Media Release (update No. 2)
Thanks to tips from the public, Hawaiʻi Island police located a pair of Everlast boxing gloves that had been removed from a home in Hawaiian Beaches during a burglary earlier this year.
The gloves, which have the signatures of numerous boxers and referees who participated in the 1984 Olympic Games, were located April 4 at a home in the Orchidland Estates subdivision in Puna.
Police are continuing the burglary investigation.
