Hawai’ʻi Island Police have located Chevy Soares, the 32-year-old Eden Roc woman who had been missing since Wednesday afternoon (May 13).

Soares was located by police detectives on Thursday morning (May 14) just before 11:00 a.m. at a residence in Pāhoa. She was located in good health.

Police would like to thank members of the public who assisted in providing police with information and leads during the time Soares was missing. Information from the public often leads to the expeditious and successful conclusion of these types of cases.
