Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in providing information about a burglary in Honokaʻa on March 27.

The break-in occurred at a home on the 45-300 block of Lehua Street, which is in the Haina Camp area, sometime between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. on that date.

The items stolen included electronics, power tools, silver dollar coins, a Booker T. Washington 50-cent piece and a black Cordoba electric guitar with abalone shell around the sound hole.

Police ask anyone with information about this case or the location of the stolen items to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Officer Gregg Karonis at 775-7533.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
