Hawaiʻi Island Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Makahiki Ikaika Moala, who was reported as a runaway.

He is described as having a dark complexion, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. Moala was last seen in Hilo on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 2:50 a.m. wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with a Dragon Ball Z design, gray shorts, and white Crocs.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Moala’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
