Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 64-year-old Eliott Evans Moniz, of Kailua-Kona, who was reported missing.

Moniz was last seen on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at a residence in the Kailua-Kona area. He is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 8 inches, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and balding hair. He has a tattoo of a leopard on his left chest area.

Moniz is also wanted an outstanding warrant of arrest.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Officer Charles Caldwell-Kaai at (808) 326-4646 ext. 253, via email at charles.caldwell@hawaiicounty.gov, or call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
