Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 30-year-old Zackery Caruthers-Styhl of Pāhoa who was reported missing.

He was last seen in the beginning of January 2024, in the area of the Hilo bus terminal, possibly catching a bus to Kona.

Caruthers-Styhl is described as Caucasian with a thin build, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 175 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He has the outline of the “California state and bear” tattoo on his right arm.

Police ask anyone who may have any information on the whereabouts of Caruthers-Styhl to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
