As part of Hawai‘i Police Department’s ongoing community outreach efforts, Area II Community Policing Officers invite the public to three Coffee With a Cop events in Kona this month.

Coffee With a Cop events will take place from 8 – 10 a.m. on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, January 11, at the Kona Haven Coffee Co., Coconut Grove Marketplace, 75-5805 Ali’i Dr. Kailua-Kona.
  • Friday, January 20, Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Dr., Kailua-Kona.
  • Friday, January 27, Kona Coffee & Tea, 74-5588 Palani Rd., Kailua-Kona.

Stop by and get to know your district and Community Police Officers over a cup of coffee while discussing topics of mutual interest and concern. These popular informal events are a great way to get to know the police officers in your district. There is no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
