Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Precious Anderson, who was reported as a runaway.

Anderson was last seen at a school in the downtown Hilo area on January 12, 2022, at 7:30 a.m., wearing a black t-shirt, white pants, a gold rope chain with a pendant that reads “Kuuipo,” and unknown shoes.

She is described as having a slim build, 5 feet 1 inches, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have any information on Anderson’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
