1-19-22 Police Ask for Public’s Assistance in Locating Two Missing Brothers

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two brothers, John and Joseph Norton of Puna, who were reported missing by a family member. Relatives have not heard from the two men since last autumn.

Joseph Norton was last contacted on October 5, 2021. The 57-year-old is described as fair skinned, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

John Norton, also age 57, was last seen on November 16, 2021, in Pahoa Village. John is also fair skinned, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

 Police ask anyone with information on the location of John or Joseph Norton to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
