Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a Hilo man and woman who were reported missing.

Masaru Miyamoto, 93, and his 88-year-old wife, Tamie Miyamoto, were last seen in Hilo on Sunday (October 11).

Masaru Miyamoto is described as 5-foot-9, 165 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. Tamie Miyamoto, who walks with a limp, is described as 4-foot-10, 130 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. They may be in a brown 1993 Toyota Camry sedan.

Police ask anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
