Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Layla Subica, of Hilo, who was reported missing.

She was last seen in the area of Kilauea Avenue in Hilo on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, around 9:00 p.m. wearing a red t-shirt, black biker shorts, and white tennis shoes.

Subica is described as Hawaiian/Portuguese, 5 feet 2 inches tall,125 pounds, with black hair with blonde highlights and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Subica’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Blane Kenolio at blane.kenolio@hawaiicounty.gov.
