Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Shaylee Carvalho, who was reported as a runaway however, is classified as an endangered missing child.

She was last seen in the 100 block of Hokupaa Street in Hilo on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Carvalho is part Portuguese / Hawaiian with a light complexion, 5 feet 1 inches tall, 100 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Carvalho’s whereabouts to call Officer Noah Serrao at the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311.
