10-17-22 Runaway Uilani Ahuna Located, Runs Away Again

Hawai‘i Island police report that 15-year-old Uilani Ahuna, who was previously reported as a runaway, (#22-056465), was located in Hilo on Friday, October 14, 2022, in good health. However, later that evening she reportedly ran away again (#22-091384).

Ahuna was last seen around 8:00 p.m. Friday evening on the 1100 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and floral print bike shorts.

She is described as Hawaiian with a slim build, about 5-foot-1, 120 pounds, with curly shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a burn scar on the inside of the lower portion of her right leg.

Police ask anyone with information on Ahuna’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
