Hawai‘i Island police are providing an update on 14-year-old Jaidon Wieland-Vierra, who was reported as a runaway earlier this week.

On the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, Wieland-Vierra, was located in Puna in good health. However, a few hours later at 11:00 a.m., she reportedly ran away again. Wieland-Vierra was last seen in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo.

She is described as being local with a light complexion, 5 feet tall, 105 pounds, with long red hair and brown eyes. Wieland-Vierra has piercings on her lip and both nostrils.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Wieland-Vierra’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
