Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an ATV that was reported stolen in the Hāmākua district. Sometime between the evening hours of Tuesday, October 18, 2022, and the morning of Wednesday, October 19, 2022, a 2021 Polaris Sportsman 570 Ultimate Trail ATV, black with blue accents, was removed from a residence on Kukuihaele Road in Honoka‘a.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Officer Ivan Alatan at (808) 775-7533; or via email at ivan.alatan@hawaiicounty.gov. They may also contact the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
