Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Sofefina Paulino-Ngata who was reported as a runaway.

Paulino-Ngata was last seen on the 100 block of Kapiolani Street in Hilo on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 7:00 a.m.

She is described as Polynesian with a dark complexion, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with straight shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Paulino-Ngata’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
