Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an East Hawaii runaway, 17-year-old Makahiki Moala.

Moala was last seen in the area of the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 11: 15 p.m., wearing black pants and a black shirt.

He is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 8 inches, 173 pounds, with black hair, black eyes, and pierced ears.

Police ask anyone with information on Moala’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
