Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Kawika Hassard who was reported as a runaway.

Hassard was last seen in the Mountain View area on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., wearing a blue Hilo Intermediate School hoodie jacket, green camouflaged pants, white Nike brand Air Jordan shoes, and a hat. 

He is described as a thin local male with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone who may have information on Hassard’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
