Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 37-year-old Terriphena Yazzie of Mountain View, who was reported missing. She is considered endangered because she is in need of medication for a medical condition.

Yazzie was last seen in the area of Airport Road/Kekūanāo‘a Street in Hilo, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. She is known to frequent Mountain View and the Banyan Drive area of Hilo.  

No photograph of Yazzie is available, however she is described as being of Native American descent, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, with long reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. She also has numerous tattoos on her legs and back.

Police ask anyone with information on Yazzie’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, attention Officer Craig Derasin.
