Hawai‘i Island police have charged 30-year-old Devin Saragosa-Taoy, of Puna, for multiple warrants as well as various property crimes.

On Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, officers from the Puna Community Policing Section and Puna Patrol located Devin Saragosa-Taoy at a residence in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision. Wanted for three arrest warrants, Saragosa-Taoy was also wanted in connection with various property crimes that had occurred in the Hawaiian Paradise Park area in September. 

Later that same day, after conferring with the County Prosecutors Office, Saragosa-Taoy was charged for burglary in the first degree, criminal trespass in the second degree, and two counts of habitual property crimes. He was also charged for his three arrest warrants, bringing his total bail to $52,000. 

Saragosa-Taoy’s initial court appearance was Monday, Nov. 8, 2021.
