11-10-22 Police Seeking 3 Wanted Puna Men

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating three Puna men wanted for outstanding warrants and questioning in several ongoing investigations. The men are identified as:

  • Daesyn S. Pacheco-Muragin, of Mountain View, age 31, who is wanted on an outstanding Hilo Circuit warrant. He is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
  • Thomas M.K. Kahooilihala, of Kurtistown, age 25, who is wanted for questioning relative to an assault, property damage, and a road rage-type incident that occurred in early October 2022. He is described as 6 feet tall, 168 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
  • Steven P.L. Kahooilihala, of Kurtistiown, age 43, who is wanted on an outstanding Hilo Circuit warrant. He is described as 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.   

Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals to contact the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
