Hawai‘i Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating a missing child, 10-year-old Kainoha Nowell. Nowell was initially reported as a runaway but due to his age, he is considered a missing endangered child. 

Nowell is described as 4 feet 4 inches tall, 70 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen on the 100 block of West Lanikaula Street in Hilo Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. wearing a white/gray jacket, shorts, and brown slippers. 

 If you have information that can assist in helping safely locate Kainoha Nowell, please call 911 or contact police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
