 The Hawaiʻi Police Department introduces Ms. Denise Laitinen as their new Public Relations Specialist effective November 16, 2020.
 
A seasoned writer and journalist, Laitinen brings years of experience to the position having worked in a wide range of  broadcasting formats, including newspapers, online news outlets, and radio.
 
Based at the Hawaiʻi Police Department’s Administrative Services Division in Hilo, media inquiries can be submitted to Laitinen via email at HPD.Media@HawaiiCounty.gov. ​She can also be reached via phone at (808) 961-8875.
