Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance locating 88-year-old Yoshi Hirai who is known to frequent the Kealakekua area.

She was last seen in the Kealakekua area on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 9:00 p.m. wearing black leggings, with a brown art print long sleeve shirt, black slip-on shoes, and walks with a brown cane with a blue ribbon.

Hirai is considered an endangered missing person due to her age.

Hirai is described as 4-feet, 10-inches, 90 pounds with short gray hair and brown eyes. A birth mark is located on her right cheek.

Anyone with information on Hirai’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
