Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 11-year-old Kamaluhia Kauinui who was reported as a runaway on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

He was last seen in the 100 block of Kapiolani Street in Hilo on Monday, November 20, 2023 at around 3:00 p.m. 

He is described as Hawaiian, about 5-feet tall, 140 pounds, large build, medium brown hair, and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and gray camouflage colored surf shorts.

Due to his age, he is considered as an endangered runaway.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
