Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating a theft from a retail establishment on the 100 block of East Puainako Street in Hilo. The suspect’s image was captured on video surveillance.

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on November 19, an unidentified woman left a salon without paying for services. The suspect is believed to be in her early 20’s, approximately 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-4, 150-160 pounds with a large build.  She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, brown shorts and slippers.

Police ask anyone with information about her identity or any other information about this case to call Officer Sean Phelan at 961-2284 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
