Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Elijah Fontes of Hilo, who was reported as a runaway.

Fontes was last seen in the area of the 300 block of Kalanianaole Avenue in Hilo, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black shorts, and slippers.

He is described as being local, with tan skin, 5-feet tall, 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
