Hawaiʻi Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating a 38-year-old Kaʻū man who has been missing for a year.

Christopher-Jay K. Baird was last seen in the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates subdivision on November 30, 2019. He is described as a local male, medium build, approximately 5’3” tall, 160 pounds, short brown hair, and brown eyes. He may frequent the Kailua-Kona area.

Police ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at phone number (808) 935-3311, or Detective Michael Santos of Area II Criminal Investigations Section (808) 326-4646, ext. 224, or email at michael.santos@hawaiicounty.gov.
