Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Elijah Fontes, who was reported as a runaway.

Fontes was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts at 7:55 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in the vicinity of Route 130 and Kaloli Drive in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision in Kea‘au.

He is described as having a slim build, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have any information on Fontes’ whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
