Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Kainalu Cox of Ainaloa who has been reported as a runaway.

Cox was last seen in the 200 block of West Puainako Street in Hilo on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 7:15 a.m., wearing a Tan “Pro Club” t-shirt, red “LA” hat, black ripped jean shorts, and white Nike shoes.   

He is described as having a fair complexion and being 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.  

Police ask anyone who may have information on Cox’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
