Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 53-year-old John Beitler, of Hilo, who was reported missing. Beitler was last seen in the area of Banyan Drive in Hilo on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Beitler is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Beitler’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
