2-01-24 Police Renew Request for Public’s Assistance with Locating Two Runaways

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating two female runaways in unrelated cases, 17-year-old Zoeylynn Puaoi-Pinheiro and 16-year-old Mary Costner.

Puaoi-Pinheiro is known to frequent the Hilo area and was last seen in downtown Hilo on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 (report #23-085216 ). She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 110-120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  

Costner is known to frequent the Waimea area. She was last seen in Pa‘auilo on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and Croc sandals. Costner is described as Asian with a light complexion and medium build, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information on Puaoi-Pinheiro and/or Costner’s whereabouts to please call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Officer Corey Kaneko at (808) 961-8843 or email: corey.kaneko@hawaiicounty.gov.
