Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for information regarding 30-year-old Marina Cortez of Puna, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant and for questioning relative to a custodial interference investigation.  

Marina is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. She is known to frequent the Puna and Hilo districts.

Cortez may be in the company of her 4-year-old son, Alexander Cortez, who is 3 feet 3 inches tall, 30 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marina and/or Alexander Cortez to please contact Detective Gavin Kagimoto of the Area I Juvenile Aid Section at (808) 961-2276, by email at gavin.kagimoto@hawaiicounty.gov or the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
