2-09-24 Police Seeking Two Female West Hawai‘i Runaways

Hawai‘i Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two female runaways from the same household in Kona, 13-year-old Zerri Mendiola and 16-year Ella Ishoda. Due to Mendiola’s age, she is considered endangered. 

Both were last seen at their residence in the 75-5800 block of Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona, on February 8, 2024, around 6 p.m.. Mendiola was last seen wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans, with a black backpack. Ishoda was last seen wearing brown pajamas. Ishoda is known to frequent the Ocean View area.

Mendiola is described as Micronesian, 4 feet 9 inches tall, 95 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Ishoda is described as Micronesian, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
