Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Kula Ahuna of Kea’au, who was reported missing. He was last seen Saturday, January 8, 2022, and had been in the care of a relative who has since passed away. 

Ahuna is described as local, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 135 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes. The photograph in this release is from 2019, when he was 13 years old.

Police ask anyone with information on Kula Ahuna’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Boyd Bangloy at boyd.bangloy@hawaiicounty.gov.​
