Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 56-year-old Jeffrey Hansel who was last heard from two to three months ago and reported as missing yesterday, February 18, 2021. Known to frequent the downtown Hilo area, Hansel has no permanent address.   

He is described as heavy set, 5’7” tall, 195 pounds, light skin, with brown hair and green eyes.    

Police ask that anyone with information on Hansel’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
