Hawai‘i Island police are asking the public’s assistance in locating 59-year-old Gail Ka‘awa of Nā‘ālehu, who was reported missing.

Ka‘awa, who has a medical condition that requires medication, is described as Hawaiian, 5’-5” tall, weighing 135 pounds, with long wavy black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen leaving the Keahuolu Courthouse in Kailua-Kona on December 8, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. and may frequent the Hilo area.

Anyone who may have any information on Ka‘awa’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Officer Bradley Waiki in Ka‘ū Patrol at (808) 939-2520.
