Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Kailea Kekipi of Hilo, who was reported as a runaway. Due to her age she is considered endangered.

Kekipi was last seen in the 1100 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo, on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:20 p.m. wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and silver-colored hoop earrings.

She is described as Asian/Hawaiian, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Aaron Abalos at aaron.abalos@hawaiicounty.gov.
