Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Chanel Cumlat-Lewis, who is reported as a runaway.

Cumlat-Lewis was last seen at a residence on Kilauea Avenue in Hilo at about 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March19, 2021.

Cumlat-Lewis is described as having a fair complexion, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with long straight brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a peach colored top, ripped blue jeans, and “Air Jordan” shoes. Cumlat-Lewis may be in the Kaumana area of Hilo.

Police are asking for anyone with information on her location to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311 or Officer C. Barto of Hilo Patrol at (808) 961-2213.
