Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 73-year-old Danny L. Ostlund of Hilo, who was reported missing on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Ostlund was last seen on Banyan Drive in Hilo on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He is described as Caucasian, 6 feet 1 inches tall, 160 pounds, with white medium-length hair and brown eyes. Ostlund is known to occasionally use a cane or a walking stick.

Police ask anyone with information relative to this investigation to call Officer Daniel Mahi-Murray at the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311, or email him at Daniel.Murray@hawaiicounty.gov.
