Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Justine Kawaa, who was reported as a runaway. Due to her age she is classified as an endangered missing child.

Kawaa was last seen near the 1200 block of Kaumana Drive on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 10:00 p.m.

She is described as part-Hawaiian with a light complexion, 5 feet tall, 146 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Kawaa’s whereabouts to call Officer Christa Brodie at the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311.
