4-07-21 Police Renew Request for Assistance in Locating Six Runaways

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request in asking for the public’s assistance in locating six runaways. Each runaway has previously been featured in separate releases. Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of the runaways to contact Officer Corey Kaneko of the Area I Juvenile Aid Section at (808) 961-8843 or email at corey.kaneko@hawaiicounty.gov or to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

Runaway: Makahiki Ikaika Moala
Report No.: 20-057273
Sixteen-year-old Makahiki Ikaika Moala was last seen in the Panaewa area of Hilo on July 29, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. Moala is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, having a dark complexion, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray and blue plaid shorts, a gray T-shirt, and white athletic shoes.

Runaway: Chanastie K. Caitano

Seventeen-year-old Chanastie K. Caitano was last seen in the Mountain View area on August 11, 2020, at 1:30 a.m. Caitano is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, 133 pounds, having a medium complexion, with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black spandex shorts and a white windbreaker jacket and may be in the Kaumana area of Hilo.

Runaway: Noa Lolohea

Sixteen-year-old Noa A. K. Lolohea was last seen in Hilo on September 24, 2020, around 12:00 p.m. wearing a gray long-sleeve sweater and gray shorts. He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 120-160 pounds, with brown eyes and brown curly hair. Lolohea is known to frequent the Keaukaha area of Hilo, as well as Keaau and Pahoa.

Runaway: Scott Kapeli-Spencer

Thirteen-year-old Scott Kapeli-Spencer was last seen in Hilo on January 9, 2021, around 8 p.m. He is described as being 5 feet tall, 190 pounds, with brown eyes and dark curly hair.

Runaway: Keali’i Kaniho

Fifteen-year-old Keali‘i Kaniho was last seen in Hilo on January 11, 2021, around 9:15 p.m. Kaniho is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has “Kaniho” tattooed on his back. Kaniho was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, blue jeans, and slippers.

Runaway: Lokelani Troche-Nobriga

Fourteen-year-old Lokelani Troche-Nobriga of Hilo was last seen on February 11, 2021, in Hilo in the area of Kilauea Avenue between Wilson Street and Barenaba Lane.

She is described as having a fair complexion, nearly 5 feet in height, 115-120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Troche-Nobriga was last seen with her hair in two pig tails, wearing a plaid long-sleeved shirt with ripped denim jeans, carrying a green backpack, wearing a red mask, and riding a skateboard.
