Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Makahiki Moala who was reported as a runaway.

Moala was last seen in the 1100 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at around 11:40 am. He is described as Hawaiian, about 5’09” tall, 160 pounds, slender build, brown mohawk haircut, and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, jeans, and gray contractor style boots.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
