Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 29-year-old Maria Girangaya  of Ka‘ū who is wanted on several outstanding bench warrants, as well as for questioning in connection with other criminal investigations.

Girangaya is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Known to frequent the Kona and Ka‘ū areas, Girangaya also goes by Maria Banayar, Maria Gallets, and “Honey Girl”.
