Hawai’i Island police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating 65-year-old Kris Seizen Yamauchi of Kailua-Kona, who was reported missing by his family. Due to his age, he is considered endangered. 

Yamauchi was last seen on April 6, 2023, around 11:00 a.m. in the Keauhou area. 

He is described as Japanese, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 120 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Yamauchi’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
