Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Maycee Ahsui-Mendoza of Pahoa who was reported as a runaway.

Ahsui-Mendoza was last seen in the Kea‘au area on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 8:00 p.m., wearing a gray and white hoodie style sweatshirt, blue jean pants, and black tennis shoes. She is described as Filipino, 5 feet tall, 100-135 pounds, with shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes.
