Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying four persons of interest for theft and related incidents that occurred at a hotel on Waikoloa Beach Drive in South Kohala.

On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, hotel security staff reported that several items had been stolen and damage to hotel property had occurred the previous night.

Video surveillance showed a man (photograph person of interest #1) removing a sign from a wall and concealing the item within a bag. The man was in the company of three other men and a woman. Upon further review of the video surveillance, the same man was observed removing a decorative vase/urn cover. Hotel security were able to determine that an additional sign and a decorative fish were also removed.

All parties are wanted for questioning in regards to this incident.
