Hawai‘i Island police are searching for 15-year-old Meletupou Hoponoa who was reported as a runaway. Hoponoa was last seen leaving her residence on Oni Oni Street in Kailua-Kona at 9:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, wearing black pants, a green shirt, and brown sandals.

She is described as Samoan, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and dark brown hair. 

Police ask that anyone with information on Hoponoa’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
