Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old John Histo III of Mountain View who was reported as a runaway.

Histo was last seen on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 12:15 p.m., in the Mountain View area. He is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Histo III was last seen wearing a T-shirt and shorts.

Police ask anyone with information on Histo’s whereabouts to call Officer A. Moleni at the Pahoa police station (808) 965-2716 or the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
