Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 40-year-old Robert E. Gomez Jr., of Hilo, who was reported missing. He has not been seen or heard from by his family since March 2022 and his family is concerned for his welfare.

Known to frequent the downtown Hilo area, Gomez Jr. is described as having a tan complexion, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Gomez’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311, or Lieutenant Rio Amon-Wilkins of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2252 or email Rio.Amon-Wilkins@hawaiicounty.gov.
